Greetings,

I have this page: https://www.forum.org/forum/frontpage/News

Which I want it to be here: https://www.forum.org/

I want that when people visit this page: https://www.forum.org/

They see this: https://www.forum.org/forum/frontpage/News but their browser url still shows : https://www.forum.org/

Do you guys know of any way to achieve this?

Thanks in advance.

Try this in your .htaccess file:
Code: Select allRewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^/?$ forum/frontpage/News [L]

Thanks it did do something, though did not work exactly but I think it's possibly because another site exists on the location and it is mixing the 2 pages.

Allow me to explain.

I have the phpbb forum at /forum and I have a wordpress site at / which acts as my landing page, but which I have also used to add some static pages. Ideally I would like to keep the wordpress site for these extra static pages and replace its index page at / with the url forum/front/News

Wordpress site forum.com
phpbbsite: forum.com/forum
Url: forum.com/forum/frontpage/News
To redirect to
forum.com

Is that possible or do I have to place the wordpress at another location?

Try using:
Code: Select allRewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} /$
RewriteRule .* /forum/frontpage/News [L]

Or, could you not simply use something like <?php echo file_get_contents("/forum/frontpage/News"); ?> within your forum.com main index.php file?
