I would like to display a list with the latest topics and another one next to the latest replies, how could I do that? This would be placed where I want it, either on a page (of the page extension), it would look like this

Thank you Chico Gois but that's not really what I would like (I was aware of this extension). I would like it to look more exactly like the screenshot, a column on the left for the last topics (active or not) and another with the last answers and that it is possible to display on a page other than the welcome..

You can acheive what you want with top five extension. The edits would not be much on backend and most of it would be on the theme side. You can have the latest topics and the last posts.

Or you could use Recent Topics extension and make some edits. You would end up with two recent topics extension installed xD One for last topics and another for last posts.

Or you can use Top Stats extension: https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/extension/top_stats/

And maybe the best bet would be using Top Ten Topics, make sure it works with last phpBB orelse fixed it, and create the styling. (You can find here: http://phpbbrevolution.altervista.org/download/)

Unfortunately I don't have the skills to do this, I might be able to do it if I have a manual

I knew this extension, it existed I think in the form of a "mod" a few years ago (suddenly old lol). Same, how to make it compatible with Flatboot..

For this solution, the extension is no longer updated it seems, no version 3.3.x
