Finally the possibility to have the user auto-register with their favorite social media accounts has arrived.
No more pricey monthly fee with Oneall...

BBoauth:
marketplace.php?mode=view&item_id=41

-Auto registration with selected social media (Github, Google, Coinbase, Instagram, Slack, Discord, Razer)
The user can login, or auto register from anywhere on the board. This is a new option as well. (you cannot do that by default with phpBB)
-If they choose to register via X social media account, they can do so super fast thanks to BBoauth doing the heavy lifting for them.
The user links the social media account, BBoauth creates the account, sends them an email confirmation, and auto logs them in as well. The process is fast and intuitive for your users.

Enjoy!

When can it be used with Facebook? :-D

phpbb already supports facebook login (Administration Control Panel > Authentication > (set as Oauth) > Facebook) then set your Key and Secret that you can get from https://developers.facebook.com/

For more info look on page 33 under OAuth Authentication: https://download.phpbb.com/pub/document ... tation.pdf

yeah just to clarify, phpBB does not have auto-register option with social media, hence the reason BBoauth new feature lol

It might quite nooby question but after registrating with bboauth is there a possibility for members to log in via username and password? For example if logging in through bboauth doesnt work for some reason.
