Hi,
I'm thinking about converting a site I've had for a very long time to phpbb. I haven't used phpbb in a very long time so I was wanting to get some feedback from people who use it.
My current site is running wordpress with a bbpress/buddypress setup. I also have a custom downloads system I built using Jet Engine.

The main things I'm concerned about is creating custom dynamic pages, SEO, social login, 2FA, bot protection, gamifying my site, and a good download system.

In terms of registration, the way I currently have my site set up is that only social login/register is allowed. Is this also possible with phpbb?

You can have phpBB with BridgeDD for Wordpress and create a single login/registration.

For social login you can use marketplace.php?mode=view&item_id=41 or viewtopic.php?f=27&t=1270

For 2FA: marketplace.php?mode=view&item_id=43

Bot Protection you can use Cloudflare free services. (And you'll need this: marketplace.php?mode=view&item_id=48 or this https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/exte ... masked_ip/, sitesplat version has better options, the only thing the other version is better is this https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/exte ... pic/179766, but you can change the code to have that extra enhancement check)

For gamifying the forum: marketplace.php?mode=view&item_id=24 + marketplace.php?mode=view&item_id=25 + marketplace.php?mode=view&item_id=26

About download system, probably the best is: https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/exte ... extension/ (But you will need to write the style for it) or use this marketplace.php?mode=view&item_id=51

I know you use wordpress, I also used it for a brief period but it didn't meet my needs.

I started using Joomla and there is this bridge that meets your needs.
